Welcome to The Hair Den! My name is Jennifer, or Jen, and I’ve cut hair since 2013. My work experience has been diverse and exciting - from booth renting and specializing in color & women’s cuts, to Marine haircuts while living in Camp Lejeune NC, to managing 5 salons at once. Through all of this experience, I’ve realized my passion lies with men’s hair & creating a comfortable space for men. The Hair Den has been a dream for years - one that’s not fully realized yet - but one that has been thought about since 2013. It is truly surreal to see my vision come to life & it’s only through my wonderful clients that this has been possible. At The Hair Den my mission is to listen to you & create a haircut that makes you feel the most comfortable & confident. Currently I’m offering men’s haircuts, facials, & waxing at the salon. Some personal tidbits about me - I have 2 dogs that I would die for, I love trying new hobbies (currently I’m in love with wood working), I’m a morning regular at the gym, I love to read & appreciate art, I love to stay curious, and I take great pride in the real connections I form with each of you. It’s an honor to be your stylist & friend. Come as a stranger, leave as a friend 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼 Some additional things you should know about the salon: Ways to pay: Venmo & cash preferred, card accepted as well The Hair Den is not equipped to take on traditional women’s hair cutting & styling - the salon is not equipped with curling or flat irons, round brushes, products designed for feminine styling, or current knowledge on feminine cuts. I do have female clients that get skin fades & are looking for a “masculine” haircut - please reach out if this is what you’re looking for! But in all honesty, I would not be providing the best service for you if you’re looking for long, flow-y layers with an awesome blowout & style afterwards - I’ve spent the last 6+ years honing my skills in men’s hair and have not kept up on current trends/knowledge on women’s cutting & styling.
